We are extending the Day to Lead the Way campaign through Commencement on May 22, 2016, to give everyone an opportunity to participate and to meet our $100,000 goal.

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, Mary Baldwin is holding our third Day to Lead the Way! We’re asking our community to come together during this 24-hour online event in a show of support for Mary Baldwin and our students. Day to Lead the Way gifts will support the Baldwin Fund, Mary Baldwin’s annual fundraising effort, which helps keep tuition costs down and academic standards up. All students benefit from your support. Make your gift now to help us reach our goal! All gifts make a difference, so give what you can today to help support MBC.
What is A Day to Lead the Way?
Your chance to support Mary Baldwin College! Inspire the Mary Baldwin community of alumni and friends to make a gift on May 10. You’ll energize current students as they participate in May Term and inspire our seniors as they prepare to graduate. We’ll be announcing exciting prizes and different opportunities to participate via Facebook and Twitter all day long. Bookmark this page and keep an eye on our social media channels during the event.
We need as many alumni and friends as possible to participate to ensure this year’s event is even more successful than last year’s, and it’s a great excuse to get in touch with your Mary Baldwin friends. Please help spread the word! #day2lead

Make a gift in honor of this year’s graduating class, or show your Mary Baldwin spirit by celebrating your class year! An example would be $19.99.
Every gift improves Mary Baldwin’s giving participation rate, which in turn raises the university’s profile in national rankings and increases the value of a Mary Baldwin degree.
Your gifts really impact the student experience here. For example, 20 gifts of $50 could provide 10 students with free printing for an academic year.
Collective generosity is powerful. In fiscal year 2015, more than $124,000 was raised from Baldwin Fund gifts of $100 or less.
Make a gift in honor of Mary Baldwin’s upcoming 175th Anniversary Celebration, and mark your calendars for an all-alumni homecoming April 20-23, 2017.
The Baldwin Fund supports everything from instructional technology and educational resources to student financial aid and scholarships. If 80 people give at this level or above, it could potentially offset the cost of tuition for a student by 75%.
Gifts of $500 and above demonstrate strong support for Mary Baldwin. You lead by example as a donor, and you open a world of possibilities to our students. If 150 donors give at this level or above, it would fill Grafton Library with the latest text books and educational resources for an academic year.
